Fire Burned Down More Than 50 Houses In Lahug, Cebu City

Last December 26, 2015 at around 6pm, a fire burnt down more than 50 houses in Sitio Avocado, Barangay Lahug, Cebu City. The fire was cause by a lighted candle left out on top of a plastic drawer in Rosemarie's house. The firefighting team had delays in rescuing as the road is very narrow. It was a tragic event that happened after Christmas.

One of my friend previously lived in one of the house that had been burned. I was living in the same neighborhood too but good thing, my boarding house before was not included. We were lucky to escape the panic as it was just 2 months ago since we moved out from there.

During New Years Eve, the victims were staying in Lahug Elementary School temporarily. They are bound to be relocated but it is still under negotiation.
